Teaching Philosophy

"As a cellist rooted in the rich musical traditions of Mexico and informed by diverse experiences in the US, my teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in fostering a culturally inclusive approach to music education. I believe that every student possesses a unique musical voice waiting to be discovered and nurtured. Through personalized instruction, I aim to empower students to express themselves authentically and creatively, while also building a strong technical foundation. I am committed to creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students from all ages are encouraged to explore, take risks, and develop a lifelong passion for music. By integrating elements from various musical traditions and styles, I strive to broaden students' perspectives and inspire a deeper appreciation for music."
